SAGE 2023 - Demo Trinity Heart Demo- WANTED DEAD

Overall a pretty great experience with this, now there are a few problems I'll bring up like a game-breaking bug where if you don't get the checkpoint after the penguin mech it for some reason sends you to a previous checkpoint. Soft-locking the game. Or the face of the penguin mech doesn't tell you the controls or how it works but besides that a pretty great time.

The only things I'd add and change are the ability to remap controls and the bounce/slam to give more height. I had many times where I'd performed the bounce by accident and then dye since it needed some time to build height. same with the slam but not as much.

Also adding more hit points or increasing the I-frame since it's easy to lose a bunch of health pretty quick. Also, something about getting hit is odd, I think you are locked into a stun until you hit the ground for a second. It usually gets me killed with the disappearing platforms unless I air dash out of it.

Besides that, the soundtrack is pretty good and the art is cool beans. Thought I'd say that things can get hard to see with everything going on and sometimes hard to tell what is in the background or not. Not a big issue as I kind of figured it out but still felt like I should mention it.
