I want to make a sonic fan game and I don't know which engine to use, Sonic worlds I don't know how to use it, I just want a 2d engine, and game maker doesn't literally run the sprite, someone answer me, it's the project of my life

this is great sonic framework that uses unity it uses an old version of it but i tried running it on a newer version of unity and it worked fine
