As the title says. Something I've wondered ever since the Sonic Physics Guide was released on Sonic Retro many years ago. Is such a system even possible inside of Clickteam Fusion?

In case you don't know what I'm talking about, above is a graphical depiction of how it works/looks.
There's even the Sonic Advance source code that we have from the Android ports that could be used as further reference "Since I'd like to try and develope a Sonic Advance CTF engine itself".

I'm not savvy enough with coding, in general, to be able to pull it off by myself, but it is something I'd love to see explored and perhaps developed?

Any thoughts welcome.
