SAGE 2022 - Demo Super Mario XP: Remastered (SAGE 2022 DEMO)

I am always up for some classicvania action, and this is a very good castlevania style game.
For full disclosure, I've never played the original version of this game, but as for the game itself it has very solid gameplay and glorious graphics, really the parallax scrolling is great, of course the music is good and I appreciate a Bloody Tears in my Castlevania games.
Of course, there's the typical ballbreaking difficulty but I appreciate that also, I don't appreciate however is the trial-and-error nature of the third stage, but this will probably be fixed once you get actual stage checkpoints done instead of completing the game in one sitting.
Speaking of which I was a bit disappointed to not see any bosses, so I am looking forwards to that.
Nevertheless this demo alone looks good, so I hope to see it with more content soon.
