PREMISE

"Super Mario: All-Star Attack, previously known as Super Mario World: All-Star Edition,
is a team fangame project that blends all the fun of the classic Mario platformers into one whole new experience.
You can play as Mario, Luigi, Toad, Princess Peach, or Wario in an engaging quest to retrieve back the All-Star, a powerful object that belongs to the Sprixies, from Bowser and his minions.

Traverse and explore through ten whopping-huge worlds, from familiar places like Subcon and abandoned citadels, to obscure places like the Minus World!

During this process you can play your own music, swap graphics using the external skin system, and swap sounds from 16-bit to 8-bit, and even retrieve stamps and hidden music by getting a Crown rank in a stage!

With a revamped SMB3 style and dynamic physics, an engaging plot, and interesting levels, Super Mario: All-Star Attack is a phenomenal fan-made experience."

How do I change the resolution? It's kinda hard to play the game when the window takes up a tenth of my screen.

This was really great up until that part of that first fortress that features the columns of platforms moving downward. It's been a while since I've played the first Super Mario Bros, but I'm pretty certain that in that game, you could jump up through those platforms. Here, you can't; they're always pushing characters down as they move down, and so i seems impossible to jump high enough to reach the next one. I don't know whether this is a glitch, an insanely difficult section, or a relatively simple section with a trick I'm not seeing, but I do know I'm stuck.

Dear Mikey
I couldn’t get past the airship because it kept on glitching and disappearing before I could play it, causing me to not be able to progress through the game. Can u send me a link?
Sincerely yours,
Bobo2021!

Platforms in Super Mario Bros. are generally solid platforms other than a few like the moving cloud platform you see in the Coin Heavens of the game. Regardless, all girder platforms are considered solid platforms that you can't jump through.

Hey, you should re-download the game this year, as I'm re-releasing the game onto SAGE 2022. This problem was reported numerous times and honestly, was rather difficult to debunk what the real problem behind this softlock was. If you have already downloaded this fan-game from MFGG's forums, then cool because the latest version of the game is also on MFGG.
