We are rolling out some new BBCode features for you to spice up your threads, submissions and articles.

Stylized Notice Box

These are a great way to highlight certain information to your readers. Maybe you want to let them know there was an update to your game? Or perhaps you want to do a character bio? Regardless of what it is, this is a visually pleasing way to do so!

Example:
SONIC THE HEDGEHOG

Controls:
X = Jump
Down (Hold) + X = Spin Dash
X (Hold) While in Mid-Air = Drop Dash

Progress Bars

Wanna tell people how development is coming along? With the progress bars, it's very easy to do so.

Example:

35%
- Level Design
Code:
[progressy]NUMBER[/progressy]
18%
- Art
Code:
[progressr]NUMBER[/progressr]
90%
- Gameplay
Code:
[progress]NUMBER[/progress]
55%

Code:
[progressy_f]NUMBER[/progressy_f]
5%

Code:
[progressr_f]NUMBER[/progressr_f]
100%

Code:
[progress_f]NUMBER[/progress_f]

You do have to update them manually and can't use letters or special characters just numbers from [0-100].

Music Player

Last but not least, we also now have a full on Music Player where you can showcase your music, sound effects and so on without really having to link to an external website such as SoundCloud or YouTube.
Code:
[music]LINK[/music]
For this one, you have two options:
- You can upload them to a external website that gives you a direct link for them such as Dropbox or Google Drive;
- You can attach the music file here to Sonic Fan Games HQ, here's how to do it:

  1. Attach the music file(s) to your post, just like you would with any other file and finish your post. Leave your [music][/music] tags empty like so.
  2. Submit your post.
  3. Locate your Attachments (for Articles and Showcase they should be on the Sidebar to the Right, for Forum posts they should be right bellow your post) and Right Click it and Copy the URL.
  4. Edit your post and paste it in-between your [music][/music] tags.
  5. Save.

And that's all for the time-being. If you have any suggestions or is a little confused on how to use some of these features, leave a comment down bellow!

Update:
To make the process a lil' bit easier, you can now find a star-shaped icon in the Text Toolbar above your posts. In it, you can easily select each of the new BBCode features!
